Reports to: Director, ART Lead
Role Purpose The ART Delivery Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery oversight within a business domain, ensuring that vendor-led trains (ARTs) deliver committed outcomes predictably, with quality, and in alignment with enterprise standards.
This role acts as the single internal Teva delivery focal point and primary counterpart to vendor delivery leadership, providing governance, escalation management, and integration across delivery units. The Delivery Lead ensures that delivery is not only executed, but executed in the right way, at the right pace, and with the expected business impact.
Scope
- Ownership of delivery oversight for a single domain (e.g., R&D;, Commercial, TGO, Corporate Functions)
- Vendor-led Agile Release Train (ART)
- Full delivery lifecycle: planning, execution, UAT, and release
- Cross-team and cross-unit dependencies across IT and business functions
- Direct ownership of additional fixed-scope ("Fix") projects running under the ART Delivery Lead
Key Responsibilities Delivery Oversight & Execution
- Ensure delivery of PI objectives, sprint commitments, and key milestones
- Monitor progress against plan and drive predictability and flow
- Identify risks and issues early and ensure timely mitigation
- Ensure readiness for UAT and high-quality releases
Vendor Leadership & Governance
- Act as the primary counterpart to vendor RTE Leads
- Ensure adherence to the DADAI operating model, delivery processes, governance, and quality standards
- Challenge delivery plans, estimates, and execution where needed
- Provide input into vendor performance management and evaluations
Multi-Vendor Management
- Coordinate and align delivery across multiple vendors, not only the primary train vendor
- Manage cross-vendor dependencies and interfaces
- Oversee delivery of fixed-scope ("Fix") projects across vendors
Escalation & Issue Management
- Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery-related issues within the domain
- Drive resolution of cross-functional blockers across business, IT, and vendors
- Escalate effectively to leadership with clear context and recommended actions
Planning & Alignment
- Support and validate PI Planning preparation and execution
- Ensure scope is well-defined, dependencies are identified, and capacity is aligned
- Drive realistic and achievable commitments from delivery teams
Cross-Train & IT Integration
- Ensure alignment with other delivery trains, CoEs, and shared platforms
- Manage cross-train dependencies and sequencing
- Represent the domain in cross-train coordination forums
- Work closely with Product Owners and Delivery Liaisons to ensure clarity of priorities
Performance & Metrics
- Track and analyze key delivery KPIs (e.g., predictability, throughput, defect trends)
- Use data to drive improvements in delivery performance and flow
- Provide clear and structured reporting to leadership
Ways of Working
- Ensure consistent use of delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and processes
- Promote disciplined execution, transparency, and ownership across teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery model
Experience & Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in IT delivery, including agile delivery at scale – mandatory
- Proven experience leading multi-team or program-level delivery – mandatory
- Strong understanding of Agile / SAFe principles and execution – mandatory
- Experience working in vendor-based delivery models – advantage
- Experience in data, analytics, or digital delivery environments – advantage
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field – mandatory
- Agile certification (e.g., SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master) – advantage
- Project / delivery certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – advantage
- Experience or certification in data, analytics, or digital platforms – advantage
- Familiarity with Power Platform, BI, or Data & AI technologies – advantage
