? Experience: 8–15 Years About the Role IIGJ Lab is looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead laboratory operations, technical activities, quality systems, and team management. The role requires ensuring accurate gemstone testing and certification services, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure timely report delivery.

Lead a team of gemmologists and technical staff.

Oversee gemstone identification, grading, treatment detection, and report accuracy.

Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Monitor laboratory KPIs, productivity, and turnaround times (TAT).

Oversee maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.

Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and service quality.

Support technical problem-solving, research activities, and recent service development.

Ensure secure handling of customer gemstones and proper documentation.





Requirements Education

Degree/Diploma in Gemmology, Geology, Mineralogy, or related field.

GG, FGA, or equivalent gemmological qualification preferred. Experience

8–15 years of experience in a gem testing or certification laboratory.

Minimum 3 years of team handling or laboratory management experience.

Strong knowledge of diamond grading, coloured stones, treatment detection, and laboratory operations. Skills
