We are seeking a Korean Language Translator/Interpreter. The ideal candidate must have the ability to interpret/Translate between Korean and English, while leveraging industry-specific knowledge to support technical discussions and documentation. The role requires in office presence to ensure seamless communication in meetings, conferences, and technical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation & Document Translation:
- Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during meetings and translate documents and technical materials between Korean and English, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and industry-specific terminology.
- Technical Support:
- Interpret complex technical discussions related to solar energy, semiconductor manufacturing, gas management, and chemical processes. Ensure technical accuracy in interpretation while using correct industry-specific terminology.
- Industry Knowledge Application:
- Use your foundational understanding of solar, semiconductor, gas, and chemical industries to interpret specialized discussions,
ensuring the accurate communication of technical details.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Keep accurate records of interpreted materials, including meeting notes and translated documents, especially those involving technical or industry-specific information.
- Assist with Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to team members or clients, focusing on technical terminology in the solar, semiconductor, gas, and chemical industries in both Korean and English.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education, Experience and Skills.
- Any bachelors degree
- Fluent in Korean (4 or above TOPIK Level) and English (both oral and written)
- 1-2 years of experience in Solar, Semiconductor, Chemical industries is preferred
- Willingness to learn quickly and be able to travel pan India
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in translations and interpretations
- Deep understanding of Korean cultural nuances
