A Khakha Designer is responsible for preparing and developing embroidery patterns/Khakha designs used for transferring designs onto fabric before the embroidery process.

Prepare Khakha/tracing designs as per customer artwork, samples and production requirements.

Develop embroidery motifs, layouts, borders, placements and repeat designs.

Convert artwork into accurate Khakha patterns suitable for embroidery production.

Carry out precise perforation/punching of Khakha sheets as required.

Ensure correct design scale, measurements, repeat size and placement.

Coordinate with the Embroidery, Sampling, Design and Production teams for design feasibility.

Make modifications to Khakha designs based on sample approval and production feedback.

Maintain records of approved designs, revisions and design references.





Ensure the Khakha is explicit and accurate to avoid errors during embroidery production.

Support development of new embroidery designs based on current fashion and customer requirements.

Ensure timely completion of Khakha designs as per production schedules. Qualifications

Good knowledge of embroidery designs and techniques.

Strong drawing and design skills.

Knowledge of Schiffli, multi-head and/or hand embroidery will be an advantage.

Good understanding of fabric, embroidery placement and repeat patterns.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to interpret customer artwork and samples.

Experience in textile/embroidery industry preferred.
