Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Python-based applications and services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver accurate position and risk reporting solutions.
- Work closely with platform providers, internal engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless application integration and platform support.
- Partner with Front Office developers (Strats), Business Analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and release planning.
- Ensure software quality through robust testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and SDLC governance.
- Identify technical risks, recommend improvements, and drive continuous optimization of applications and development processes.




- Coordinate with hybrid delivery teams comprising internal and external resources to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge-sharing practices.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming with 7+ years of hands-on development experience.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend application development.
- Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, and SQL query optimization.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is an advantage.
- Understanding of application performance tuning, debugging, and production support.
