About the Role

Markmydigi is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Entry-Level Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging and visually appealing content.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of video flow, music selection, beat tracking, transitions, storytelling, and social media content trends.

Key Responsibilities

Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, and social media content.

Select suitable video clips, music, sound effects, and visual elements.

Sync cuts, transitions, and effects with music beats.

Identify and use the best video bites from raw footage.

Add subtitles, text animations, transitions, motion effects, and basic graphics.

Perform basic colour correction, audio adjustment, and video enhancement.

Follow the brand guidelines of Markmydigi and its clients.

Complete assigned videos within the given deadlines.

Make revisions based on team or client feedback.

Organise raw footage, project files, and final exports properly.

Stay updated with current video-editing styles and social media trends.

Required Skills

Good working knowledge of CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other video-editing software.





Strong understanding of editing, pacing, storytelling, and visual flow.

Valuable sense of music, sound effects, video bites, and beat tracking.

Ability to create engaging hooks and maintain viewer attention.

Basic knowledge of colour correction, audio editing, transitions, and text animation.

Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and different social media video formats.

Creativity, attention to detail, and good time-management skills.

Ability to understand instructions, accept feedback, and meet deadlines.

Must own and carry a laptop capable of smoothly running video-editing software.

Preferred Qualifications A relevant course or certification in video editing, media, animation, or design is preferred but not compulsory.

A portfolio or sample edits will be given more importance than formal qualifications.

Basic knowledge of After Effects, Canva, Photoshop, or AI-based editing tools will be an advantage.
