Role Description The Jr.

Quality

Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role involves supporting quality planning and execution across thermal management products, including advanced and conventional heat pipes, heat exchangers, and related solutions.

Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of quality standards, conducting inspections and tests, monitoring product performance, and documenting quality metrics. The Jr.

Quality

Engineer will collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D; teams to identify nonconformities, support root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions. The role also includes maintaining quality records, helping with audits, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications





- Demonstrated skills in Quality Engineering and Product Quality to support development, testing, and validation of thermal management solutions.
- Experience or training in Quality Control activities, including inspection, measurement, and verification of components and finished products.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices, such as process audits, documentation control, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Understanding of Quality Management principles, including continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards relevant to thermal and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with basic statistical tools for quality analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced R&D; workplace.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on-site in Pune Division.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Bore Gauge
- Surface Plate
- Knowledge of statistical quality control (SQC) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.




- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, machining, assembly, or thermal management product manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as:
- FMEA
- Control Plans
- PPAP
- MSA
- APQP
- 8D Problem Solving
- Experience conducting supplier quality audits and process audits.
- Knowledge of calibration management and metrology.
- Familiarity with Power BI or advanced Excel reporting is an added advantage.

- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) (preferred)
