Role Description

This is a full time hybrid role based in Kota, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

The Java Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support Karv Capital’s wealth management and operational platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient Java code, implementing and integrating microservices, and working with the Spring Framework to build secure and scalable applications.



The role involves collaborating with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and improving system performance and reliability. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous improvement of the development lifecycle and tooling.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Programming and Java skills, with experience building backend services and APIs.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including SDLC understanding, version control (e.g., Git), and unit/integration testing.
- Candidates should possess Spring Framework skills, such as Spring Boot, Spring Data, and dependency injection.
- Candidates should possess Microservices skills, including designing, deploying, and integrating distributed services.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Additional beneficial skills include experience with relational databases, RESTful services, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid environment are important.
