About The Role Our client is one of India's largest consumer internet platforms, processing millions of transactions every day. You will join a backend team that owns core, high-traffic services and build Java microservices that stay fast and reliable under heavy concurrent load.

What You Will Do Design, build, and own backend microservices in Java and Spring Boot, from design doc to production

Build for high throughput and low latency, with clear ownership of p99 latency and availability targets

Work with Kafka or similar queues for event-driven flows, Redis for caching, and SQL plus NoSQL stores for persistence

Own production health: monitoring, alerting, incident RCAs, and performance tuning

Collaborate with product, mobile, and platform teams on API contracts and rollouts Must Have 3 to 5 years of backend development in Java with strong, recent Spring Boot experience





Built and owned production microservices yourself, not just worked in a codebase that had them

Hands-on with at least two of: Kafka or similar queues, Redis or Memcached, Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch

Concrete scale receipts: you can speak to QPS, events per day, p99 latency, and what you personally did to improve them

Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and distributed systems basics

Product company background Valuable to Have Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP

System design at scale: sharding, partitioning, rate limiting, idempotency, backpressure gRPC, CI/CD ownership, infra as code Skills: java,high scale distributed system,ownership,microservices
