Job Role: Japanese Language Translator

Job Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune

Work Mode: (Hybrid) Experience : 4+ years Key Responsibilities

Review AI-processed documents to verify that sensitive customer information has been accurately identified and redacted.

Validate the removal of personal and confidential data, including: Individual names

Phone numbers

Email addresses

Physical addresses

City and geographical location names

Customer-specific cost and pricing information

Other personally identifiable or confidential information

Compare source documents against AI-generated outputs to ensure no sensitive information remains exposed.

Identify incorrect, incomplete, or excessive redactions and provide feedback for correction.

Maintain high accuracy and quality standards while meeting defined turnaround times.

Escalate ambiguous cases and support continuous improvement of AI redaction quality.

Ensure compliance with customer privacy, security, and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

Japanese Language Proficiency:



JLPT N2 or higher (N1 preferred).

Japan Experience: Must have lived and/or worked in Japan and possess a robust understanding of Japanese geographic locations, address formats, business terminology, and cultural contexts.

Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail in Japanese-language documents.

Ability to identify sensitive information and contextual references within business documents.

Experience in quality assurance, content review, data annotation, data validation, or document verification is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple verification tasks with short turnaround times.

Availability to support operations during Japanese business hours.

Familiarity with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and data protection principles.

Experience reviewing legal, financial, business, or customer-facing documents.
