Role & responsibilities

Job Summary The IT Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality technology solutions within agreed timelines. The role involves technical leadership, people management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring adherence to organizational processes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
- Review code, technical documentation, and solution designs to ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies, and proactively resolve issues.
- Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and status review meetings.
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular one-on-one feedback sessions.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and career development of team members.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and development best practices.
- Drive continuous process improvements and encourage innovation within the team.




- Prepare and present project status reports and performance metrics to management.
- Good knowledge on Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH)

Qualifications

- 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a Team Lead or Senior Technical role.
- Experience leading software deployment, infrastructure, cloud, or IT support teams.
