Job Summary

Writer Information is hiring an IT Support Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk, or IT Infrastructure Support. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to provide end-user technical support in a rotational shift workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, and basic network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Support Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and Active Directory-related requests.
- Log and track incidents using ticketing tools and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams when required.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.




- Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.

Eligibility

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support/IT Infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and 6 days a week.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Zoho Desk, or similar ticketing tools.
- Basic knowledge of antivirus, endpoint security, and patch management.
- ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, or Networking certifications are an added advantage.
