Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical organization, is looking for an experienced SAP IT Specialist to join its technology team in Mumbai. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role that will serve as a key bridge between business functions and technology teams, ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and support of SAP solutions across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise in SAP SD, MM, and Warehouse Management, along with experience in partnering with business stakeholders to drive process improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Provide functional expertise and support across SAP modules, with primary focus on:
- SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)

- SAP Materials Management (MM)

- SAP Warehouse Management (WM)
- Partner with business users to identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
- Support SAP implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Ensure seamless integration between business processes and SAP applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient SAP solutions.
- Conduct system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation, and end-user training.
- Provide ongoing production support and resolve functional issues in a timely manner.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and business efficiency.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with organizational standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, SAP IT Specialist, or SAP/IT Business Partner.

- Strong functional expertise in
- SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)

- SAP Materials Management (MM)

- SAP Warehouse Management (WM)
- Proven experience working on SAP implementations, rollouts, enhancements, or application support projects.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory, either working directly for a pharmaceutical company or supporting pharmaceutical clients on SAP engagements.
- Robust understanding of supply chain, procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and order-to-cash business processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing or life sciences environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP integrations with other enterprise applications is desirable.
- Experience working in global or multinational organizations will be an added advantage.
