Job Purpose/ Summary lead the design, implementation, and governance of highly secure, scalable, and compliant Azure cloud infrastructure for a large enterprise environment.

IT_Principal _Azure_Infra_SSC

As the IT Principal for Azure Infrastructure within our IT Infrastructure department, you will spearhead the strategic design, implementation, and governance of a secure, scalable, and compliant Azure cloud infrastructure tailored for a large enterprise setting. This role demands a visionary leader who can architect and evolve enterprise-scale Azure solutions to support both SaaS and internal platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for standardizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC. strategies, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and aligning infrastructure with global compliance frameworks.

Your expertise will drive the development of high-availability, multi-region SaaS applications, enhancing user experiences and minimizing downtime. Additionally, you will design scalable patterns for identity management, networking, logging, monitoring, and disaster recovery, fortifying the resilience and security of our infrastructure. Your hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server workloads on Azure will be pivotal in optimizing system performance.

You will also implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting,



and logging solutions to maintain system health and collaborate closely with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure continuous improvement.

Principal Accountabilities

Lead the design build and evolution of enterprisescale Azure infrastructure to support SaaS and internal platforms ensuring robust performance and reliabilitybrOwn and standardize the Infrastructure as Code IaC strategy using tools such as Terraform OpenTofo Bicep ARM or Pulumi ensuring consistency and efficiency across deploymentsbrIntegrate IaC into CICD pipelines incorporating policyascode and automated validation to streamline processes and enhance compliancebrLead the alignment of infrastructure with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 ISO 27001 GDPR and HIPAA ensuring all systems meet necessary regulatory requirementsbrArchitect and operate infrastructure that supports highavailability multiregion SaaS applications ensuring seamless user experiences and minimal downtimebrDesign scalable patterns for identity management networking logging monitoring and disaster recoverybusiness continuity planning enhancing the resilience and security of the infrastructurebrApply deep handson experience with Linux and Windows Server workloads on Azure to optimize system performance and reliabilitybrImplement comprehensive monitoring alerting and logging solutions using Azure Monitor Log Analytics App Insights or similar tools to maintain system health and performancebrCollaborate closely with DevOps Azure DevOpsJenkins Platform and SRE teams to ensure a unified approach to infrastructure management and continuous improvement
