Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and access points.

- Ensure smooth functioning of Apple Classroom, interactive panels, and other classroom technologies to support digital learning.

- Manage IT infrastructure upgrades, software licenses, and asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.

- Supervise IT helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network and system maintenance, renewals, and support contracts.

- Monitor network performance, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime.

- Maintain and update IT inventory, asset registers, and documentation related to licenses, warranties, and AMCs.

- Ensure secure data storage, backup management, and cybersecurity measures are in place across the institution.

- Manage e-waste disposal responsibly in compliance with environmental and institutional regulations.

- Collaborate with the Administration and Finance teams for IT-related purchases, budget planning, and cost optimization.

- Conduct periodic training and awareness sessions for staff and students on technology use, data safety,



and digital etiquette.

- Implement ERP, email systems, and other digital platforms efficiently across departments.

- Prepare monthly reports on IT performance, incidents, and asset utilization for leadership review.

Education Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics.

- Masters degree or relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA, etc.) preferred.

- Certification in network security or system administration will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

- 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, networking, and system administration.

- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and interactive panels.

- Familiarity with Apple ecosystems, classroom technology, and cloud-based storage solutions.

- Experience managing IT assets, e-waste, procurement, and vendor coordination.

- Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and project management skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users effectively.

- Proficiency in ERP platforms, MS Office Suite, and network monitoring tools.
