SAMVEDANAM Consulting is a strategy and investment banking advisory firm. We currently advise a client in India's renewable energy space on structuring and scaling their Solar Project Finance vertical, and are separately engaged as advisors on a Solar Asset Sale process. Across both mandates, we're building a curated panel of investment banking partners — independent bankers, boutique advisory firms, and institutional investment banks with a green/renewable energy financing focus — who can plug in on specific deals.
No full time or exclusive commitment required. WHAT YOU'D WORK ON
- Structuring and raising equity and debt for greenfield solar projects in India — including construction and term debt from banks/NBFCs, ECBs, green bonds, IREDA/PFC/REC and similar institutional lenders, and equity from PE/infra funds, family offices, or strategic investors.
- Providing buy-side support on solar asset sale transactions — identifying and engaging qualified buyers/investors, supporting valuation and due diligence, and helping structure and close transactions. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Individual bankers, boutique advisory firms, or institutional investment banks with 8+ years (or an established practice)
in investment banking, project finance, or infrastructure advisory, with direct exposure to renewable energy / solar deals.
- An active, dealable network of lenders, DFIs, PE/infra funds, or strategic buyers relevant to Indian solar assets.
- A track record of originating or executing debt/equity raises or M&A; transactions in infrastructure or energy — firm-level credentials are welcome alongside individual ones.
- Comfortable working deal-by-deal in a partner/referral capacity alongside your existing practice or mandates. HOW THIS WORKS
This is a non-exclusive, success-fee-based partner arrangement — not a full-time hire or a retained mandate. You (or your firm) bring relevant deal flow or execution capability on specific mandates; we structure the engagement (retainer + success fee, or pure success fee, depending on the deal) and fee-share transparently per transaction. Open to individuals and institutions based anywhere in India or globally, as long as you have credible reach into the relevant lender/investor ecosystem.
