The company renovates and flips distressed residential properties into modern, high-quality homes, and manages a portfolio of 16–17 short-term vacation rentals listed on major platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Bonvoy Marriott, and Vrbo. XLNC Exotic oversees end-to-end operations for its rentals, including guest experience, maintenance, pricing, and occupancy management.

An in-house legal team manages all property-related compliance, contracts, permits, and regulatory requirements, while XLNC Cars provides well-maintained vehicles for short- and long-term rentals. This integrated structure offers design professionals exposure to real estate, hospitality, and mobility projects in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Role Description The Interior Designer role at XLNC Exotic is a full-time, in office position based in Remote, OR.

The Interior

Designer will plan, design, and execute interiors for renovated homes, short-term rentals, and related spaces, ensuring cohesive aesthetics that align with brand standards and target guest profiles. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts and mood boards, selecting finishes, fixtures, furniture, and décor, and preparing layouts, floor plans, and 3D visualizations as needed. The role involves coordinating with construction, maintenance, and operations teams,



conducting site visits, overseeing installation and styling, and ensuring projects meet budget, timeline, and quality requirements.

The Interior

Designer will also help optimize spaces for functionality, durability, and guest appeal, using design solutions that support high occupancy and positive reviews across the property portfolio.

Qualifications

Strong interior design skills, including space planning, concept development, and selection of materials, finishes, furniture, and décor.

Proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), as well as basic digital documentation and presentation software.

Experience designing residential interiors; hospitality or vacation rental design experience is highly beneficial.

Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and work within defined budgets and timelines.

Strong attention to detail, aesthetic sensibility aligned with modern and premium interiors, and practical understanding of durability and maintenance needs.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present design concepts and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Knowledge of basic building codes, safety standards, and property compliance considerations related to interior design is a plus.
