Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Wadala.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design solutions for cinema properties and related spaces, ensuring alignment with Miraj’s brand, customer experience standards, and operational requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating design concepts and mood boards, planning layouts, preparing detailed drawings, and selecting finishes, fixtures, and furniture in coordination with cross-functional teams. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, and contractors to review construction drawings,



monitor site execution, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

The Interior

Designer will also participate in vendor coordination, sample reviews, and design revisions based on stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), with the ability to create functional and aesthetically cohesive spaces.

Strong skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to optimize layouts for comfort, safety, and audience flow in cinema and commercial environments.

Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings, including detailed floor plans, elevations, and technical specifications.

Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, vendors, and contractors, and to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field; qualified certifications or membership in design bodies are an advantage.

Competence with industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with materials, finishes, and lighting design.

Solid attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of building codes, safety standards, and best practices in commercial interiors.
