Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Intern role based in South Delhi. The intern will assist the design team with space planning, development of interior concepts, and preparation of mood boards and presentations. Daily responsibilities include supporting selection of furniture and FF&E; items, preparing drawings and layouts, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining project documentation.

The role also involves conducting basic material and product research, participating in site visits and measurements,



and collaborating with team members to ensure design intent is accurately executed. The intern will be expected to contribute creative ideas, communicate clearly with colleagues, and uphold Metro Buildtech’s standards for sustainable and culturally sensitive design.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.

Knowledge of Furniture and FF&E; (fixtures, fittings, and equipment), including selection, specification, and coordination.

Effective Communication skills for collaborating with design teams, consultants, and vendors.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Basic proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and comfort with presentation tools.

Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to take feedback and work in a quick-paced studio environment.

Interest in sustainable design practices, materials research, and contemporary design trends.
