Role Description The Insurance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jabalpur, focused on guiding customers in selecting appropriate life insurance and savings solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying customer needs, explaining policy features and benefits, and recommending suitable products in line with regulatory and company guidelines. The role involves conducting in-person client meetings, managing leads generated through various channels, and supporting customers through the proposal, underwriting, and policy issuance process.

Advisor also assists with policy servicing, renewals,



and basic claims-related guidance, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance and quality standards. Collaboration with branch teams and participation in training and sales initiatives are integral to the role.

Qualifications

Strong sales and customer engagement skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and convert leads into long-term relationships.

Basic financial and insurance knowledge, with the capacity to explain protection and savings solutions in clear, simple terms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in local language and positive command of English for documentation and reporting.

Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple client interactions, follow-ups, and policy servicing tasks efficiently.

Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or policy management systems for lead tracking and documentation.

Minimum educational qualification: typically a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; candidates with commerce, finance, or business backgrounds are preferred.

Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services sales is advantageous but motivated entrants with strong sales aptitude are also considered.

Willingness to undergo regulatory and company-specific training and obtain required licenses or certifications as per local insurance regulations.
