We are seeking a talented SAS Developer with robust expertise in SAS Programming, Base SAS, SAS SQL, and ETL development to build, maintain, and optimize data processing solutions for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable SAS programs, performing data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting while ensuring high data quality and performance. You will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance SAS programs to support business and analytical requirements.
- Design and implement efficient ETL processes using SAS.
- Extract, transform, validate, and load data from multiple source systems.
- Develop reusable SAS macros and automated data processing workflows.
- Write complex SAS SQL and PROC SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Optimize SAS programs for performance, scalability, and productive resource utilization.
- Create production-ready batch processes and schedule automated jobs.
- Troubleshoot program failures, data quality issues,



and production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
- Develop reports, datasets, and analytical outputs based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Maintain technical documentation, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, governance policies, and best development practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with SAS Data Integration Studio.
- Exposure to SAS Viya or SAS Visual Analytics.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with banking, healthcare, insurance, retail, or financial services domains.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.
- Knowledge of Python or R is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

- 25 years of hands-on experience in SAS development and programming.
