Title: Infoblox/DNS Engineer

Location: Remote - INDIA

Duration: 6+ Months

Employment Type: W2

Pay Rate: 1500 - 2000 INR Working Hours: 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST

We are seeking an experienced Infoblox/DNS Engineer to support and optimize enterprise DNS infrastructure. This role focuses on enhancing DNS operations through subnet management, reverse DNS configuration, and automation readiness within the Infoblox setting.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and remove unused subnets from the Infoblox Grid to optimize IP resource utilization.

Add missing subnets identified through Network Insight scans to ensure network consistency and completeness.

Configure and maintain extensible attributes to support automation initiatives and improve DNS/IPAM data management.





Ensure reverse DNS zones are properly configured and fully resolvable across the Infoblox Grid.

Perform DNS/IPAM administration and maintain accurate network records.

Troubleshoot DNS-related issues with a strong focus on accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve network automation readiness.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions.

Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, subnetting, and reverse DNS.

Experience using Network Insight or similar network discovery/scanning tools.

Knowledge of reverse DNS zone configuration and management.

Experience implementing Infoblox Extensible Attributes (EAs) to support automation.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
