Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer with 4 years of expertise in automation testing and a proven track record of leading QA teams. In this role, you will design and optimize automation frameworks, ensure high-quality deliverables, and mentor junior automation testers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives, improve release processes, and deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation

Strategy &

- Development :
- Architect, design, and maintain advanced automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Ensure scalability and reusability of automation solutions across multiple projects.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster releases.

2. Team Leadership &

- Mentorship :
- Lead and manage a team of junior automation testers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Allocate tasks, review automation scripts, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the QA team.

3. Test Planning &

- Execution :
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test strategies.
- Oversee execution of automated test suites, analyse results, and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Drive regression, smoke, and sanity testing for major releases.

Quality

Assurance &





- Process Improvement :
- Define and implement QA standards, tools, and methodologies.
- Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Recommend improvements in QA processes and automation coverage.

5. Collaboration &

- Reporting :
- Work closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Provide metrics and dashboards on automation coverage, defect trends, and release readiness.
- Support UAT and production validation activities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, TestSigma.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Solid understanding of API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
- Understanding of version control systems (Git).
