Bharat Stars Services Private Limited (BSSPL) is a Joint Venture Company between M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), India and ST Airport Services Pte. Ltd (STARS), Singapore, incorporated in the year 2007 and commenced fueling operations at Bangalore International Airport in May 2008. It has now increased footprints at different airports across country that includes major airports like Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi.
BSSPLs business objective is to provide world class Into-plane Services (ITP), fuel farm management services and aviation solutions to the customers. The companys success in the aviation fueling space emanates from the relentless pursuit of excellence and the brand stands on the pillars of Quality Control, Safety” and “Customer Service”.
BSSPL is working to be the single stop service provider for all aviation fuel related needs, such as: solution for various aviation fuel services, safety training to external agencies and supply of aviation lubricants etc. BSSPL also provides Business Support Services such as aviation fuel management services, ITP services and trained manpower services to the other petroleum companies in India.
BSSPL has been fueling the leading domestic and international airlines for the past decade and is conscious of the exacting standards that are expected by the esteemed customers. Timely refueling and hassle-free transactions are two of the key expectations of customers and BSSPL has a well-trained team positioned across the country who works extremely hard to meet the expectation of the customers and deliver high levels of service every day of the year.
: Executive – Regional HR & Admin.
Detailed Key Responsibility Area
1. HR Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for the locations under assigned region.
- Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and separations.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
- Ensure HR policies and SOPs are consistently implemented.
- Taking care of regional Tour and Travel form submission form region and location.
- Maintain records of asset issuance, acknowledgments, and returns.
- Coordinate asset recovery during employee transfers, resignations, or termination.
2. Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment process for regional positions, ensuring timely fulfilment of approved manpower requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through multiple sourcing channels, including employee referrals, recruitment agencies, job portals, and educational institutions.
3. Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.
- Support disciplinary actions and investigations where required.
4. Performance Management
- Coordinate the annual performance appraisal process.
- Monitor completion and quality of performance evaluations.
5. Learning & Development
- Identify regional training needs.
- Coordinate learning programs in collaboration with HQ HR.
- Monitor training effectiveness and employee development plans.
6. Compliance & Labour Relations
- Ensure all regional offices adhere to local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and make appropriate communication with employees
7. Compensation & Benefits
- Support payroll inputs and validate employee data.
- Calculate and share overtime data with HQ HR.
- Administer employee benefits as per company policy.
- Maintaining leave records of all locations.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and submit periodic HR MIS reports to HQ.
- Monitor key HR metrics such as:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Recruitment status
- Attendance
- Leave utilization
- Training completion
- Employee engagement
9. Business Partnering
- Partner with regional leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Advise Location In-charge on HR policies, workforce planning, and organizational development.
10. Coordination with HQ HR
- Execute corporate HR policies and strategic initiatives.
- Provide timely updates and reports to HQ HR.
- Ensure standardization of HR practices across the region.
- Participate in corporate HR projects and process improvements.
- Drive change management initiatives as directed by HQ HR.
Qualifications required:
- 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- MBA/Relevant degree in Human Resource Management.
- Comfort with technology; proficient with MS excel.
