Role & responsibilities

1. Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping tasks, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and other spaces are cleaned and maintained to high standards.

2. Conduct inspections of rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.

3. Assign daily cleaning schedules and tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient coverage and task completion.

4. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to housekeeping team members, reinforcing cleaning techniques, safety practices, and service standards.

5. Respond to guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.

6. Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, reporting shortages and coordinating with the Assistant Manager for inventory replenishment.

7. Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and address any repairs needed in guest rooms and public areas promptly.

8. Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations,



and uphold strict hygiene standards.

9. Assist in implementing eco-friendly cleaning practices, including waste management and use of sustainable products.

10. Prepare daily housekeeping reports, including inspection checklists, inventory usage, and staff performance, and relay findings to the Assistant Manager.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team and maintain high standards.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and other departments.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and a welcoming environment.

- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques for effective and protected housekeeping.

Basic understanding of inventory management and housekeeping documentation
