Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Supervisor role based in Vijayawada.

The Housekeeping

Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to high cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring tasks for housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, and coordinating with the front office and maintenance teams to address room status and service requests. The role also involves managing laundry operations, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and linen,



training team members on procedures and hygiene standards, and supporting excellent guest service through prompt, courteous responses to housekeeping-related queries or concerns. The supervisor is expected to uphold brand standards, contribute to process improvements, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

Strong supervisory skills with experience leading housekeeping teams and coordinating daily operations.

Hands-on housekeeping expertise, including room cleaning procedures, public area upkeep, and attention to detail.

Knowledge of laundry processes, linen management, and handling of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.

Experience in hotel or hospitality operations, preferably in similar star-category properties.

Ability to work versatile schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.

Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards, with a focus on compliance and secure work practices.

Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in housekeeping supervision is highly valued.
