Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Associate role located in Sikkim, India.

The Housekeeping

Associate is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to established standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, and replenishing amenities. The role includes reporting maintenance issues, handling cleaning supplies safely, and following health and safety guidelines. The associate will ensure rooms are prepared for guest arrival and timely turnaround, respond to guest requests courteously,



and coordinate with front office and maintenance teams to support smooth daily operations.

Maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and a welcoming environment throughout the property is a core part of the role.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping, room attendant, or similar roles in hotels or hospitality settings is preferred.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and handling cleaning equipment safely.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Basic communication skills in English and local languages to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices, with willingness to follow hotel procedures and guidelines.

Reliability, integrity, and a guest-focused mindset, with a skilled and respectful approach to diverse colleagues and guests.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.

High school education or equivalent; formal training in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage.
