Job Overview:

As a Sea Exports HoD the person will be responsible for customer on boarding & Retention, issuing quotations and ensuring correct billing and timely recovery of payments along with achieving yearly targets and budgets finalized.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Focused:

- Responsibility will be to secure current Customers business.

- Work towards getting all customers of the different agency networks on board.

- To give Quotations for inquires or otherwise for any Branch related shipments

- Ensure effective pricing

- Customer Relations and RETENTION OF EXISTING CLIENTS

- Maintaining Relations with Carriers and service Providers.

1. Cost Management/ Profitability/ Billing:

- To monitor and control the Profit & Loss of the department.

- Ensure that the P&L; is in Positive

- Ensure timely collection from customers
- To keep expenses in control as per agreed budget.

- Regularly Identifying areas to improve on COST CUTTING and REVENUE LEAKAGES.

1. Other Areas:

- Customs Clearance Related Activities

- Regularly visit the CFS , ICD and Customs Houses and be in tune with the ground realities

- Ensuring optimum automation to reduce manual work
