About Role :

Hive is looking for QA engineers to help build our quality assurance infrastructure and team. As an engineer focused on QA and testing, you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of our products.

You will have full autonomy of the testing process, will own the components that you work on, and be involved from design through deployment to ensure we ship the highest quality mobile and web applications. You will also be a leader in helping build the QA team,



which will match the speed and execution capabilities of our product and development team.

Responsibilities :

- Take ownership of quality assurance for the respective features and releases.
- Create and implement test plans while executing test cases for assigned features within a designated timeframe.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
- Reporting and tracking software defects.
- Create and manage bug reports while effectively communicating and collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal results.
- Effectively communicate issues, risks, and test status in a timely and detailed manner while identifying the root cause of discovered issues.
- Identify and recommend tools & process improvements in STLC.
- Support the determination of approaches and the development of new or enhanced technical tools.

Qualifications &

Experience :

- 3 - 4 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications, including hands-on experience with mobile testing tools and API services in large-scale environments.
- Solid understanding of mobile technologies for both iOS and Android platforms, as well as Web technologies.
- Strong grasp of Manual Test methodologies, testing strategies,



and principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in diverse projects.
- Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring full test coverage.
- Hands-on expertise in grey-box and black-box testing, identifying both functional and non-functional defects.

Technical Skills :

- Debugging &
- Troubleshooting : Highly proficient in using tools like Charles Proxy, xCode, and Android Studio for diagnosing issues, analyzing network traffic, and troubleshooting defects.
- Testing Tools Expertise :
- Experienced with Jira for bug tracking and project management.
- Proficient in using TestRail for test case management and reporting.
- Familiar with Git for version control and collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Postman for API testing, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

Additional Skills :

- Performance &
- Automation Testing : Knowledge of performance and automation testing methodologies is a plus, with an understanding of tools and techniques used to evaluate these aspects of applications.
