We're looking for public health professionals with graduate-level training to help shape how AI understands population health, epidemiology, and health policy — ensuring it reflects scientific consensus, equity principles, and ethical standards. This is a high-impact, fully remote contract role that lets you apply your MPH in a brand-new way, on a schedule that works for you.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, clinical trial interpretation, and policy analysis to rigorously test AI reasoning.
Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines from bodies like the CDC and WHO.
Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards. Identify misinformation and reasoning gaps.
Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured,
expert feedback to help models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably.
Required Who You Are
Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate-level field
Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
Ability to translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written content
High attention to detail — especially when reviewing statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
No prior AI experience needed — we'll onboard you Nice To Have Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
