ORGANIZATION PURPOSE The Global ODC (Offshore Development Center) Management function ensures that IT operations, vendor management, and business objectives are aligned through a structured governance framework that delivers measurable outcomes while balancing stakeholder, workforce, and operational needs.
JOB PURPOSE The Head of Site Management is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing, managing, and scaling the bank's Bangalore ODCs, which consist of a large number of IT resources from multiple vendor partners operating across two facilities. The role combines strategic planning, operational leadership, vendor governance, and offshore workforce management to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery aligned with the bank's goals.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all ODC operations across multiple Bangalore facilities.
Act as the neutral governance lead for all vendors operating within the same ODC campus.
Establish and enforce common workplace rules, policies, and vendor cooperation guidelines.
Chair governance forums and resolve cross-vendor issues related to space utilization, staffing, operations, and facilities.
Provide on-the-ground oversight to ensure vendors comply with contractual obligations, ODC standards, and organizational policies.
Oversee offshore delivery performance, ensuring outsourced services align with business objectives and contractual commitments.
Own ODC governance frameworks, controls,
and risk management processes to mitigate operational, regulatory, contractual, and reputational risks.
Manage campus operations, including facilities, workforce planning, seating strategy, transportation, and employee amenities.
Drive compliance, audits, business continuity testing, and adherence to outsourcing and offshoring standards.
Serve as the primary stakeholder management lead, building solid relationships between the bank and vendors.
Lead employee engagement initiatives, including town halls, events, and communication forums.
Monitor vendor performance through governance meetings, KPI tracking, service reviews, and executive steering committees.
Promote adoption of the supplier operating model and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Monitor market, industry, and regulatory developments impacting outsourcing strategies and vendor management. KEY DELIVERABLES ODC Management and Site Leadership Oversight
ODC Strategy & Operations Leadership: Define and execute the ODC strategy aligned with the bank's objectives, oversee day-to-day operations, monitor KPIs, drive service excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
Governance, Risk & Compliance Management: Own ODC governance frameworks, policies, controls, and risk management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, security standards, and conducting regular audits and assessments.
Stakeholder, Financial & People Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between the ODC and global stakeholders, manage vendor and business relationships, oversee budgeting and cost optimization, ensure financial targets are achieved, and support team development through mentoring and leadership.

Strategy & Management
ODC Governance & Vendor Oversight: Ensure effective onboarding/offboarding of vendor resources, monitor adherence to the ODC operating model, drive participation in governance forums and executive committees, and act as the primary voice for ODC-related matters.
Risk, Security & Compliance Management: Enforce vendor compliance with security, IP protection, and regulatory requirements, coordinate security audits, manage vulnerability remediation programs, and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks across ODC locations.
Operational Controls & Financial Management: Oversee control reporting, ensure accurate OVR tracking and billing processes, monitor OVR budget performance, and provide timely reporting to support financial governance and operational transparency.
KEY REQUIREMENTS Education & Certification
Essential: IT based degree, university degree, or equivalent work experience required and banking qualifications
Desirable: ITIL/ PMP/ PRINCE2/COBIT/ AGILE Skills & Experiences
10 to 15 years of IT disciplines in ODC Management, Vendor Management, Service Delivery Management, Program Management, Agile
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, IT service management, and project management.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking sector.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategy into operational plans and business results.
Experience with managing large-scale organizational change
