As we scale into our next phase of growth - welcoming our biggest cohort yet - we're looking to strengthen the team that keeps everything running: Operations. About the Role

We're hiring a Head of Operations to lead and build out our Operations function from the ground up. This role sits at the center of everything that happens at Mesa - programs, events, faculty and vendor coordination, and the day-to-day work that keeps a growing institution running smoothly. You'll own the systems, the processes, and the people that make it all happen.

What You'll Do

Design and implement strong processes and SOPs across programs, events, and day-to-day operations

Manage stakeholder relationships end-to-end - team members, faculty, speakers, vendors, and partners

Lead and grow a team of 10+ people across multiple functions





Adapt quickly to last-minute changes in schedules, conflicts, and plans without compromising the experience

Bring a data-first approach to problem-solving and decision-making

Build the operational backbone to support Mesa's next phase of growth What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience running complex, on-ground operations, ideally in a startup setting

Proven experience managing a team of 10+ people across multiple functions A strong track record of building operational systems and processes from scratch

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across internal and external groups A data-first mindset for problem-solving and decision-making Nice to Have

Candidates with a background in the Indian Armed Forces transitioning into the startup ecosystem are especially encouraged to apply - many of the skills built there translate strongly into this role.
