The candidate should be experienced in managing production environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance of big data platforms.

- Perform cluster upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Configure High Availability (HA) and disaster recovery solutions.
- Troubleshoot cluster failures, performance issues, and data storage problems.
- Implement security using Kerberos, Ranger, Knox, and LDAP integration.
- Optimize Hadoop cluster performance and resource allocation.
