- Perform grinding of welded joints, edges, and metal surfaces

- Remove excess weld material, slag, burrs, and sharp edges

- Carry out surface finishing of fabricated components as per requirement

- Prepare materials for welding, assembly, or painting

- Operate grinding machines, hand grinders, and polishing tools safely

- Assist welders and fitters in fabrication activities

- Ensure proper alignment and smooth finishing of structural parts

- Inspect surfaces and ensure quality finishing standards

- Maintain grinding tools and equipment in positive condition

- Follow safety procedures and use PPE (goggles, gloves, face shield, etc)

- Support housekeeping and clean work environment in the workshop
