Position: Global Category Lead - Indirect Procurement (IP) Role Purpose: Drive global sourcing strategy, supplier management, cost optimization, and procurement transformation for assigned indirect spend categories. Partner with regional and business stakeholders to deliver savings, innovation, sustainability, risk mitigation, and operational excellence across global operations.

Strategy & Sourcing Define and execute global category strategies for indirect spend categories.
Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, cost drivers, and risks.
Lead strategic sourcing projects, RFx processes, negotiations, and contract management.
Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization and productivity improvements.
Supplier Relationship Management
Develop strategic supplier partnerships.
Lead supplier selection, qualification, performance reviews, and development programs.
Manage supplier risk, business continuity, and compliance requirements.
Drive supplier innovation and sustainability initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with global business leaders, manufacturing sites, finance, HR, IT, engineering, and operations teams.
Align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Act as trusted advisor on procurement and category-related decisions. Cost Savings & Value Creation Deliver annual savings, cost avoidance, cash-flow improvement, and productivity targets.
Identify opportunities through demand management, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.
Monitor category spend and performance metrics.
Procurement
Excellence & Digitalization Lead procurement transformation projects.
Improve sourcing processes, governance, and policy compliance.
Leverage procurement tools such as Coupa, tableau, and other analytics platforms.
Drive automation and digital adoption initiatives. Sustainability & ESG Implement sustainable sourcing practices.
Support diversity, environmental,
and responsible procurement objectives.
Ensure supplier adherence to ESG standards. Key KPIs Annual cost savings (% and value)

Stakeholder satisfaction Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or Procurement.
8+ years of procurement experience with robust category management expertise.
Experience managing global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Strong commercial negotiation and strategic sourcing skills.
