- To build and develop a Finance Global Service Centre
- Develop effective, professional and client focused teams who strive for continuous improvements
Transition of work
- Responsible for the effective transition of global processes from regional teams to the Finance Service Center
- Responsible for excellent operational delivery of centralized tasks, month-end close and financial reports
Quality of deliverable and measurement
- Build the framework and infrastructure to measure and report on quality service delivery, risk and audit
- Partner with key stakeholders to align on service delivery expectations, critical standards and requirements and process changes
Process improvement
- Build capabilities with the team for continued process re-engineering
- Act as a change agent to drive innovation and process improvements for more globally consistent processes and standards
- Develop robust business continuity plans for continued service delivery
Point of escalation
- Work closely with the global Finance teams
- Act as the final escalation point within the Finance Global Service Center in India and be responsible for and partner with various core infrastructure teams
- Provide oversight of all teams in the Bengaluru Finance Global Service Center
Qualifications/Skills Required
- About 15 to 20 years with experience in or exposure to various finance functions (e.g. financial reporting, financial operations, compensation or FP&A;)
- Experience and/ or involvement in building/ expanding and leading a Finance Service Center, including process transition
- Ability to effectively plan, set priorities and manage several complex projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Robust interpersonal and client service skills
