The Global Procurement Operations Support role provides analytical, operational, and process governance support across 3M’s procurement organization. This role supports the Procurement Middle Office by providing operational, analytical, reporting, and governance support across global procurement processes.
The position helps ensure smooth execution of key activities such as supplier communications, scorecards, dashboard reporting, cash and payment term initiatives, procurement controls, data quality, contract and PO support, and issue resolution. The role serves as a key connection point between Category Teams, Sourcing, Accounts Payable, Finance, Treasury, Legal, IT, and suppliers to improve process discipline, visibility, savings realization, and working capital outcomes.
At advanced levels,
the role is expected to lead more complex work independently, serve as a subject matter expert, drive process improvements, manage escalations, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and help standardize and strengthen procurement operations across regions and categories.
