Requirements:

- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/MD in General Surgery)

- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a valid license to practice

- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting

- Demonstrated proficiency in common general surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and bowel resections

- Robust knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and pathology

- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills under pressure

- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams

- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues

- Willingness to be on call and participate in emergency surgical duties as required
