HISUN Green Power is looking for an experienced General Manager (Projects) to lead and manage Transmission Line and Substation projects across India. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in successfully executing high-voltage transmission line and substation EPC projects.

The position is based in Hyderabad and requires frequent travel for client meetings, project reviews, inspections, and regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end execution of Transmission Line and Substation projects.
- Plan, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, utilities, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, project specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and monitor site progress.
- Manage procurement coordination and material planning.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure statutory, contractual, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Prepare MIS reports and present project updates to senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- PMP Certification (Preferred)

Experience





- 17+ years of experience in Transmission Line & Substation Projects.
- Experience in 132kV, 220kV, 400kV, and above projects.
- Experience in Renewable Energy evacuation projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong EPC project management experience.

- Frequent site inspections, client meetings, vendor meetings, and progress reviews.
- Willingness to travel extensively based on project requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile ✔ 17+ years of relevant industry experience

✔ Solid knowledge of Transmission Line & Substation EPC Projects

✔ Excellent client-facing and leadership skills

✔ Proven record of delivering projects within time and budget

✔ Ready to travel across India for project execution and business meetings
