Description:The role is responsible for end-to-end leadership of plant operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and effective manufacturing aligned with business objectives. The role oversees production, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and people management across one or more manufacturing plants. The incumbent implements strategic initiatives to improve productivity, safety, quality, and labor utilization, while ensuring adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices).

The role drives operational excellence, cost optimization, risk management, and continuous improvement, while strengthening customer and stakeholder relationships. Strong focus is placed on regulatory readiness, talent development, innovation, and contingency planning to ensure sustainable plant performance. The role builds leadership capability through talent development and succession planning.

Essential Functions:

- Lead overall plant operations, including production, quality, engineering, warehousing, and support functions

- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems

- Drive Strategic Planning and Execution to meet output, quality, cost,



and delivery objectives

- Oversee Production Planning &
- Scheduling and ensure optimal resource and capacity utilization

- Govern Audit and Inspection Management, ensuring continuous Regulatory Compliance and inspection readiness

- Lead Financial &
- Budget Management, cost control, and profitability improvement initiatives

- Ensure robust Environmental, Health &
- Safety (EHS – Environmental, Health &
- Safety) performance across the site

- Drive Operational Excellence &
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs

- Oversee people leadership, including workforce planning, performance management, and Team Training &
- Development

- Implement effective Risk Assessment &
- Mitigation and contingency planning for operational continuity

- Ensure effective Management Review &
- Reporting and transparent communication with stakeholders

- Promote innovation, digital adoption, and technology optimization across plant operations

- B. Pharm B. Pharm - Required

- M. Pharm M. Pharm - Preferred

Experience:

- 15 years or more in 15+ Years
