Role Overview :

As a GCP Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and deploying scalable data architectures that power our clients' decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and cloud architects, to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the reliability and speed of data delivery, ensuring that stakeholders have seamless access to high-quality, actionable information to support strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and storage for enterprise-level applications.
- Develop and optimize complex ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL to ensure high performance and data integrity across diverse data sources.
- Manage and tune BigQuery datasets to support high-concurrency analytics and reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data quality checks and monitoring, reducing downtime and improving the reliability of data products.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers,



fostering a culture of best practices in cloud-native data engineering and code quality.
- Partner with business analysts to translate ambiguous requirements into technical specifications that align with long-term data strategy.

Required Skillset :

- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing end-to-end data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with a proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and highly efficient code for large-scale data processing.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance optimization techniques specifically within BigQuery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a distributed, remote-first setting.
- Proven track record of managing projects independently while maintaining a high standard of delivery in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
