Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.

- Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js .
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
- Design and optimise relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across both frontend and backend.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture and design discussions.
- Optimise application performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement authentication and authorisation using Spring Security, JWT, or OAuth.
- Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the application architecture.

Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Frontend development using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js .
- Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, NgRx).
- Database experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle for build management.
- Version control using Git, GitHub,



GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Testing experience using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- API testing using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
