Mogi I/O is building India's most comprehensive end-to-end OTT infrastructure, powering micro-drama platforms, live streaming, shoppable video, and broadcast-grade delivery for media companies across South Asia and beyond. We move fast, ship real things, and build for scale.

The role

You'll be one of the core engineers shaping the Mogi platform, writing production code across mobile, web, and server layers, and working directly with product managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to turn complex media-tech problems into clean, scalable solutions. This is not a siloed engineering role; you'll be expected to own features end-to-end and grow into a technical leadership position.

What you'll do

Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and native Android (Kotlin)

Develop high-performance server-side APIs and microservices in Node.js, Go, and Python

Design and optimize data models across MongoDB and PostgreSQL; integrate with Express.js REST APIs

Contribute to platform architecture decisions, ABR streaming, content delivery, encoding pipelines

Collaborate directly with product, design,



and external client stakeholders to define technical requirements

Participate in code reviews, set standards, and mentor junior engineers

Own your features from scoping through deployment and monitoring in production

What we're looking for

3–4 years in full-stack or mobile engineering at a startup or media-tech company

Solid hands-on proficiency in React Native and Next.js (frontend); Node.js with Express (backend)

Solid knowledge of Go or Python for backend services

Database experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL in production environments

Understanding of REST API design principles, authentication, and performance optimization

Prior exposure to OTT, video streaming, e-commerce, or high-traffic consumer apps is a strong plus

Clear communicator who can handle stakeholder conversations, not just code reviews

Good to have

Cloud infrastructure: GCP or AWS (k8s, compute, storage, deployment pipelines)

Media CDN: Google CDN, CloudFront, familiarity with HLS delivery

Experience with video transcoding pipelines or media processing workflows
