We are seeking a Senior E‑Commerce Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and high‑performance e‑commerce solutions, with hands‑on experience across modern backend architectures.

Experience with Elastic Path is a strong advantage and will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade e‑commerce applications.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.

- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in e‑commerce and software development.

- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in e‑commerce application development.

- Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring 5, and modern backend frameworks.

- Hands‑on experience with microservices and monolithic architectures.

- Experience building headless commerce and API‑driven e‑commerce solutions.

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).





- Hands‑on experience using Apache Solr for search implementation.

- Strong experience with Maven for build automation.

- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.

- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.

- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to lead and influence technical discussions.

- Preferred / Good to Have Skills:

- Hands‑on experience with Elastic Path Commerce, including Commerce Manager and Cortex API.

- Elastic Path certification or equivalent training.

- Experience integrating payment gateways, PIM systems, and OMS platforms

- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

- Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).

- Strong understanding of cloud deployment and infrastructure management on AWS.
