Role Description The Front Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for providing professional and welcoming front desk support to guests and visitors. This role includes greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, handling room inquiries, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest stays.

Assistant will answer phone calls, manage appointment scheduling and reservations, and provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
Daily tasks also involve maintaining front office records, handling basic administrative and clerical work, and ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards. The role requires consistent adherence to hotel policies, a focus on guest satisfaction, and an ability to respond calmly and efficiently to guest concerns or requests.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, including qualified guest interaction and customer service orientation.
- Candidates should possess phone etiquette and appointment scheduling skills to manage calls, inquiries, and reservations efficiently.
- Candidates should possess administrative assistance and clerical skills, such as record keeping, documentation, and basic office organization.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Prior experience in front office, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with hotel management or reservation systems, is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a shift-based environment.
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
