Front End Engineer Chennai
We're looking for a skilled Front End Engineer to help build and scale the user-facing experience of our platform. This is a hands-on IC role where you'll craft modern, accessible, and performant web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
You'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design to translate business needs and design specs into elegant, reliable UI. Your work will directly shape how our platform looks, feels, and performs for the medical practices we serve.
This is a full-time, in-office role in our Chennai engineering center, working with a high-performing, AI-native engineering team. You will report to our Engineering Lead.

What You'll Do (Front End Engineering)
- Build and ship up-to-date web applications using React (v18/19+) and Next.js (App Router), including server components, layouts, and routing patterns.
- Write safe, maintainable,
and scalable code in TypeScript within a strict type-checking environment.
- Implement data fetching and server state using libraries like TanStack React Query or SWR.
- Develop reusable, accessible UI components using component-driven architecture (Radix UI, shadcn/ui).
- Build responsive, consistent interfaces with Tailwind CSS and variant utilities like class-variance-authority.
- Implement complex forms with validation, type safety, debounced input, and accessibility in mind.
- Translate design system tokens, Figma specs, and branding guidelines into pixel-perfect UI implementations.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver polished features.
- Maintain modern front-end tooling and workflows (ESLint, Prettier, npm scripts, Git).
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with modern React (v18/19+) and Next.js (App Router), including server components, layouts, and routing patterns.
- Proficiency with TypeScript in a strict type-checking environment, writing safe, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Practical experience with data fetching and server state libraries (e.g., TanStack React Query, SWR).
- Familiarity with component-driven architecture (Radix UI, shadcn/ui) and building reusable, accessible UI components.
- Strong command of Tailwind CSS, responsive design patterns, and class-variance-authority or similar utilities for component variants.
- Hands-on experience with complex form handling (validation, type safety, debounced input, accessibility).
- Comfort with modern FE workflows: ESLint, Prettier, npm scripts, and Git.
- Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress).
- Awareness of performance optimization strategies (bundle size, hydration, caching) and accessibility best practices (ARIA, semantic HTML).
- Ability to translate design system tokens, Figma specs, and branding guidelines into consistent UI implementations.
- Familiarity with common FE helper libraries (clsx, lodash, date-fns, Lucide React or similar icon systems).
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders.
- Attention to detail in implementing pixel-perfect UI while balancing performance and accessibility.
- Problem-solving mindset: comfortable debugging and iterating quickly in a TypeScript + Next.js environment.
- Documentation & communication: ability to write clear technical notes and contribute to architectural discussions.
Experience We're looking for candidates with meaningful, hands-on professional experience building production-grade web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Bonus Points
- Experience with custom form frameworks or contributing to internal libraries.
- Understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and hybrid output modes in Next.js.
- Exposure to toast/notification systems (e.g., Radix toast, sonner).
- Prior work in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated environments where correctness and reliability are critical.
