Role Description The Freelance Website Designer will design and refine modern, responsive websites that align with client brand identity and business goals. Day-to-day work includes creating wireframes and visual mockups, developing page layouts, selecting typography and color palettes, and preparing graphics and visual assets for web use.

The role also involves collaborating with developers and project teams on front-end implementation, optimizing designs for performance and accessibility,



and ensuring consistent experiences across devices and browsers. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Chennai, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility to support project delivery and client communication.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, with the ability to create modern, user-focused layouts for different devices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphic Design and Graphics, including creating and optimizing visual assets, icons, and imagery for digital interfaces.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, with familiarity in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to collaborate effectively on implementation and design handoff.
- Relevant experience working on portfolio-worthy website projects for startups, brands, or agencies, preferably in a freelance or client-facing capacity.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and a solid understanding of UI/UX best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects part time, and clear communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Formal education in Design, Computer Science, or related fields is beneficial but not required; a strong portfolio demonstrating web and responsive design work is essential.
