Role Description The Freelance Video Editor role at Nxtwave Future AI Technology is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with marketing and design teams to edit and assemble raw footage into engaging video content for digital campaigns, social media, websites, and ads. Daily tasks include trimming clips, arranging sequences, adding transitions, syncing audio, and applying color grading and basic sound enhancements. The role also involves integrating motion graphics and visual elements, aligning videos with brand guidelines, and optimizing content formats for various platforms.





The Video

Editor is expected to manage project timelines, maintain organized asset libraries, and provide creative input on video concepts and storytelling.

Qualifications Candidates should possess solid Video Editing and Video Production skills, including handling raw footage and assembling final cuts.

Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual style across projects.

Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.

Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic audio editing.

Candidates should demonstrate creativity in visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to follow brand guidelines.

Candidates should be able to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Relevant experience in digital marketing or social media video content creation, and a portfolio showcasing previous work, will be beneficial.

A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
