Role Description The Franchise Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mengio, responsible for growing Looma’s network of partner studios and franchise locations. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new franchise partners who align with Looma’s vision for continuous, relationship-driven self care.
Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying prospects, presenting Looma’s franchise model, guiding partners through the application and approval process, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth launch and integration into the Looma ecosystem.
The Franchise Development
Manager will monitor franchise performance, provide ongoing support, and collaborate on market expansion strategies to strengthen Looma’s presence and member experience. This role involves regular in-person meetings, site visits,
and relationship management with current and prospective franchise partners in Mengio and surrounding markets.
Qualifications
- Experience in franchise development, business development, or partnership management, ideally within wellness, beauty, healthcare, or consumer services sectors.
- Strong skills in prospecting, relationship building, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to influence and negotiate win–win agreements.
- Background in market analysis, financial assessment of franchise opportunities, and understanding of unit economics and growth metrics.
- Ability to manage end-to-end partner pipelines, from initial outreach through contract signing, onboarding, and ongoing support.
- Solid organizational and project management skills, including managing multiple initiatives, timelines, and partner expectations.
- Comfort working in office in Mengio, conducting studio visits, in-person meetings, and community outreach as part of franchise growth efforts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present Looma’s value proposition and brand story.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic productivity software to track leads, maintain partner records, and report on pipeline progress.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, relationship-centered care and an interest in the self care, wellness, or lifestyle space.
