As our Founding Motion Designer, you'll own the animation experience across the IndieAn app.

Your primary focus will be creating engaging lesson animations, bringing our mascot Indie to life, and designing polished in-app interactions that make learning music feel fun and rewarding.

What you will do -

Lesson Animations (Primary Focus)

- Animate educational lesson content.
- Create engaging visual explanations for music concepts.
- Design interactive lesson sequences.
- Work closely with the curriculum and product teams to improve learning through animation.

In-App Product Animations
- Onboarding flows
- Mascot animations
- Success & failure states
- XP, Gems & Rewards
- Streak animations
- Progress animations
- Buttons & micro-interactions
- Loading & transition animations
- Achievement celebrations

Character Animation
- Animate Indie (our mascot)
- Expressions & emotions
- Idle animations
- Celebration sequences
- Interactive reactions throughout the app

Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, developers and curriculum creators.
- Ensure animations are smooth, performant and production-ready.
- Continuously improve the overall feel of the product.





Must Have
- Strong experience with Rive
- Adobe After Effects
- Figma
- Excellent understanding of animation principles
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI or character animation

Positive to Have
- Lottie
- Illustrator
- Experience with educational apps or games
- Experience working alongside developers
